Meat Processing Survey

by | Dec 17, 2021

Are you a meat processor in Pennsylvania? Then you likely know that meat processing is facing unprecedented delays, bottlenecking the supply of locally raised meats across the country. In Pennsylvania, Delaware Valley University is conducting research on this processing issue facing farmers in their state.

Delaware Valley University is working to develop instructional materials tailored to you and your employees’ needs. Additionally, the information you provide in your responses will be compiled and used as an important foundation for working group of processors and industry representatives in the state to discuss key issues facing the food animal supply chain in Pennsylvania.

This questionnaire should be completed by the manager or owner—the person who makes the most management decisions for the facility and will take an average of about 10 minutes to complete.

All participants that opt-into the drawing will have a chance to win one of several $60 restaurant gift cards. Depending on the length of your open-ended responses the questionnaire is designed to take 10 minutes. No identifying information is asked nor collected. The questionnaire was designed with no foreseeable risks to participation. Results will be made available at stakeholder meetings and on the Center for Poultry and Livestock Excellence website (https://www.poultryandlivestockexcellence.org/ ).
